Anniversaries!

Three years ago today I married my soul mate.  I can remember at this time, 11 am, I was madly running to the hall where we would exchange our vows to drop off all the important bits for our ceremony and then I was off to get my hair done.  Funny thing is I remember all the things I had to do and all the places I had to be but don't remember how I felt.  It's all a blur.  It's a collection of emotions but no thoughts...no specific memories.  

I got my hair done, put my make up on, got dressed in the most flattering piece of clothing I've ever owned, added the veil and waited.

We had pictures done with our wedding party but waited to see each other until after the vows.

The pictures were fun!  The ceremony was amazing!  The cake, the food, the music, the people, the time, the night, the moment...all a blur.  

I wish I was one of those women that could tell you about every little minute of my day but really I can tell you about just one...the moment I saw Ron at the end of the isle smiling just at me with that nervous look in his eyes and nothing but LOVE!

When life is challenging, scary or out of control I think of this one moment in time.  I picture his face and that smile that I love so much and all things seem possible.  The world is vicious at times and things can get to be too much but since marrying this man "too much" is really not that bad!

He is my blessing today...my everything everyday.
