Gift Wrapping Style

My sweet friend Charity is having a linky party over at her blog Back Country Drive.  What is your wrapping style she asks...well this got me thinking.  I'm not sure I have a style.  Each year I pick something different.

Some years I love the matchy-matchy look with pretty ribbons and bows.

And other years my style has been more eclectic.

All examples are from Country Living Gift Wrapping ideas

But this year, since it's all a hand made Christmas I went simple brown paper from the dollar store, cloth ribbon (because I am obsessed with buying it and have way too much) and homemade gift tags that I got from here.  I have found some other great tags in my wanderings like this one

But can't for the life of me remember where.  I used a ton of the above tags.  They just went perfect with some green backing paper and look adorable.  They also seemed to go well with the "handmade" theme this year.  I love the type and whimsy!

The only gift that wasn't done in this style was hubbies...it was a strange shaped gift, didn't fit into one box (we used two) and when we were done taping it all together it looked like a truck...so that is what I made it!

My thoughts are...have fun!  Make it work and enjoy.  Christmas is so magical shouldn't our packages be also???

Thanks for the Linky Party Charity.  Such a fun idea.  Love seeing everyones ideas.
