So Evie is growing up so fast that she has some favorite things already...and they aren't all me and dada.
Luna...Evie's newest favorite target. She does not get any rest if Evie is anywhere near by. Which leads us to her next favorite thing...CRAWLING! That is right Evie is mobile.
She spends her day crawling from one side of the house to the other chasing one of the four of us. Mostly the cat and dog since Dada and I are old news but lately she'll chase anything that is more interesting then what is in front of her.
And eyelashes...well that is my favorite really! Look at those blinks! I am truly jealous.
Back to Evie though...Grandma! She loves her Grandma. They have so much fun together. She lights up when they get together. I love watching them play. My mom has wanted to be a grandma since before she was done being a day in and day out mom. Now she's got Evie and they love each other so much!
Toys! She has some great toys and really I play with them more than she does. But if she had favorites they would be the little toy piano and cootie rolly guy. He spends most of his day tipped over so his rolly parts can be spun but he's cute to look at anyways.
And last is bath time! She doesn't get them very often because of her eczema but tonight was a definite bath night. She's been sick all day and cranky and yet in the tub full of warm water she was happy. Splashing and content! I love bath time too because my baby girl is comfortable and sweet. She is just her pure and beautiful self.
I'm sure as she grows up her "favorite list" will change and grow but for now I love the simplicity of her life. It's a joy to watch her find joy in her everyday common surroundings!
